Meiya Tirera gets the bronze with Mali in Afrobasket
The summer record of Valencia Basket does not stop increasing. Meiya Tirera, player of the women's team, got the Afrobasket bronze with Mali this afternoon after beating Mozambique 54-66. The pivot has undoubtedly been one of the leaders of her national team thanks to her 21 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 22 valuation.
With this, eight medals have already been won by the Taronja club internationals with their national squads during this summer period. Just yesterday, junior coach A Xavi Albert was proclaimed champion of the Eurobasket U16M in Udine, Italy, as second coach of Spain.
